Carlton Trail REACT announces the return of the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for 2023. It’s a chance for REACT region residents to rid themselves of unwanted waste materials that don’t belong in regional landfills. The program is in conjunction with ProductCare recycling. 

Included in the extensive list of eligible materials are certain leftover pesticides, toxics, corrosives, flammable liquids and physically hazardous products. Note that for safety reasons, all products must be in their original container with original label(s) intact to be accepted by the program. Containers that have no label, are leaking or are improperly sealed will not be accepted.
