Saskatchewan RCMP have located the white Mercedes linked to a missing children's case which began in southern Manitoba earlier this week.

On Friday, Saskatchewan RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle at Pine Cree Regional Park, which is located in the Cypress Hills between Shaunavon and Eastend. The abandoned vehicle was a white 2018 Mercedes GLC, and has been determined to be the vehicle previously associated with 55-year-old Astrid Schiller.

Astrid and her three missing children, Leon, 12, Christopher, 11, and Thomas, 9, were not with the vehicle and have not been located. The investigation has determined Astrid may have been seen last on Wednesday, June 19th in the Pine Cree Regional Park area with her children, and also in Assiniboia, Sask., sometime this past week.

Astrid and the three children may be staying at various campgrounds/parks. RCMP do not have information about a vehicle they may be driving in or associated with at this time, nor a direction of travel.

There is an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Child Abduction for Astrid Schiller from Durham Regional Police, which is not extended into the province of Saskatchewan.

If you see Astrid and/or her three children, or if you interacted with them in the past week, please call RCMP by dialling: 310-RCMP or 911 in an emergency. You can report a tip anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Saskatchewan RCMP reiterates messaging by Manitoba RCMP earlier this week that at this time there is no evidence to determine the children are in imminent danger, and an AMBER Alert is not being issued at this time.

The RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance to report any sightings of or interactions with Astrid Schiller and/or her children to contact police to report this.
