Just days after winning in Swift Current, Humboldt's Tayden Wallin had another good outing on the links.

Participating in the FutureLinks Prairie Championship in Estevan, Wallin finished the three day event in third place, with an overall score of 1-over.

Wallin had entered the final round with the lead but was overtaken by Ryan McMillan of Winnipeg.

It is Wallin's third straight top three placing at Golf Saskatchewan events, finishing in third in Prince Albert in May, as well as the Swift Current win.

The recent HCI grad, who is off to Midwestern State in Texas this fall, will have a chance to win again in Speedy Creek, as his next event - the Golf Saskatchewan Junior Championship - will be there from July 10 to 12.

Three other locals were competing in a tournament throughout the week.

The Golf Saskatchewan Men's Mid-Amateur was held in Lloydminster.

Humboldt's Paul Raycroft bounced back from a tough opening round to finish in a tie for tenth place. Drew Dale of LeRoy tied for 31st, while Greg Rogers of Humboldt ended in a tie for 38th.
