An all round strong showing by the East Central 18U AAA Red Sox last night as they took a third consecutive win against the Sask5 Giants.

Cam Marshak put in 5 solid innings on the mound for the Red Sox, and Carter Dosch came in as relief to finish the job. That along with a dialed in outfield led to the 12-6 win.

The Giants got the ball rolling in the first inning when Kleysen Gabruck crossed the plate on a passed ball. The Red Sox  answered quickly in the bottom of the first with Marek Yeager driving in Jack Biemans, followed up by Cooper Isherwood’s long fly to left that brought in Joel Bauml.

Scoring resumed in the bottom of the fourth as Biemans tagged his second single of the night, bringing Dallen Rude and Bronson Paetsch home.

Biemans led the way at the plate going 3 for 5, and the hits kept coming in the sixth inning with  Biemans, Adam Korte, Cooper Isherwood, Riley Sylvestre, Kacen Hyra, and Dylan Smith all driving in runs.

This Saturday, the Moose Jaw Canucks pay a visit to James Korte Field. Game time is 1 PM.
