Ava Holly Novecosky
February 12, 2016 – November 4, 2023

Ava Holly Novecosky was born on February 12, 2016, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Ava’s grin was contagious. She was a sweet, happy girl who loved life and enjoyed playing with her siblings, friends and school mates. Ava was very artistic and enjoyed colouring, drawing, crafting, and playing piano. Also, she was a rockstar when it came to cleaning her room and matching her clothes. Ava enjoyed snuggling her mom and wrestling her dad. Ava is survived by her mom, dad, brother and sister (Heather, Fred, Samuel and Evelyn), as well as her grandmother Theresa (George…) and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. The Funeral Mass was offered on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt, SK. Concelebrants were Fr. Colin Roy, Abbot Peter Novecosky OSB, Fr. Lawrence DeMong OSB and Fr. Joseph Salihu. Others taking part were: Aidan Possberg, cross bearer; Benjamin Possberg, Aidan Possberg, and Anna Possberg, altar servers; Benjamin Possberg and Anna Possberg, scripture readers; Melissa Dobrowski, intentions; Amy Lungull, Sarah Brann and Denis Brann, gift bearers; and Derek Brann and Denis Brann, memorial table attendants. Director and pianist, Monica Corcoran with the Youth Choir provided music ministry. Robert Possberg, Keven Stadnyk, Danny Brann, Mark Brann, Tim Novecosky, Terry Novecosky, and Andrew Novecosky were active pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were Christopher Novecosky and Joseph Novecosky. A Private Family Interment followed at St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Cemetery, Burr, SK. Memorial donations may be directed to Humboldt District Hospital Foundation- General Equipment Fund (P.O.
