The Humboldt Broncos are looking to split the first away game pairing with the Melfort Mustangs in round playoff action following a loss last night.

Tonight's game goes at 7.30 pm at Melfort's Northern Lights palace.

As expected, the contest was a close matchup between the league's second and third teams.

Following a scoreless first, Spencer Bell opened it up for the Broncos with his third of the playoffs, only to have that goal matched by Mustang Ryan Duguay minutes later.

Duguay struck again at the top of the third, but Jacob Strizzi tied it at 2-2. A backhander by Mustang Clay Sleeva at 14:15 beat Ben Motew for the Mustangs win. An empty netter on the Broncos by Mustang Logan Belt sealed the finish at 4-2.
