It was a successful Regina road trip for the 18U AAA Muenster Red Sox. 

The Red Sox travelled to Regina on June 15th and 16th for a pair of doubleheaders against the Regina Athletics and Regina Wolfpack.  

In game one againt the Athletics, Cody Bauml and Josh Doepker split the pitching duties, with many players providing the offence in multi-hit efforts. Kyle Froehlich had a home run and two triples as the red sox rallied for a 12-5 win. In game two, Ethan Rueve and Kyle Froehlich each pitched. Cody Bauml had two hits to help the Sox secure the 7-3 victory and a doubleheader sweep.

On Sunday, June 16th the Sox remained in Regina to take on the Wolfpack.

The Sox had a tough outing in game one, losing to the Wolfpack 18-8. Jake Orthner and Alex Hinz each had multi-hit games in the loss.

In the second half of the back to back, the Sox finished the game strong with four runs in the 7th inning and rebounded with a 5-2 win. Matthew McGrath pitched a complete game. Chris Major and Kyle Froehlich each had 2 hits.
Aaron Aquino provided the highlight of the game with an unbelievable catch in left field during the final inning to save the game.

Overall, it was a successful weekend for the Red Sox who went 3-1 against tough Regina competition.

Next game for the Red Sox is Tuesday, June 18th when the S'toon Giants visit Muesnter at 6:00 pm.
