Humboldt hosted a Telemiracle fundraising show with local artists who will be gracing the big stage for Saskatchewan's annual telethon extravaganza.

The show that featured some of Humboldt and area's local talent took place on Monday, March 2 at the Humboldt Gathering Place. In total $4,610 was raised that will be presented to Telemiricle.

Performing at the show was The Horse's Mouth, Lady Friday (featuring Jodie Hergott and Katy Nichol), Ray Whitton, and Morris Matieshen wrapping up the evening with a rendition of  John Denver's Sunshine on my Shoulders.

"Everything was with the hopes of raising money so that Morris could bring a big cheque along with him to present to Telemiracle," said Ray Whitton.

Nutrien generously matched whatever funds were brought in throughout the night.

Strueby Donation - $500
Donations - $200
Flower Raffle - $375
Total - $2305.00

With Nutrien's matching of the proceeds, Morris will be taking $4610 to donate.
