It took a while for some goalscoring as the divisional battle between the Northstars and the Broncos was as tight as it comes.

There was no scoring throughout the opening 40 minutes of the game. Both Broncos' Dane Dow and Northstar's goalie Joel Grzybowski were standing tall.

In the third period, Matthias Urbanski walked into the zone and fired one over the glove of Dane Dow to open the scoring. The Broncos would tie the game five minutes later off the stick of Owen Guenter.

For the second straight game between these two teams, it would need overtime.

The Broncos had to kill a penalty that extended into overtime. Once they did it didn't take long to find the answer. Logan Foster flew down the right wing, snuck around the defenseman, fired a wrister that just snuck through Grzybowski who lift the Broncos to a 2-1 victory.

With the win, the Broncos snapped their four-game losing streak and will now travel to Flin Flon for a back to back a pair of games.
