Saskatchewan Basketball fans have chosen their favourite player.

On July 1st, Basketball Saskatchewan announced that Paige Crozon was voted as the BSI Alumni bracket fan favourite. The former HCI Mohawk played with the Basketball Saskatchewan Provincial Team from 2009-2011. From there, Crozon made her way to the Canadian National Team and was recruited by Utah.

"So many people messaged me and shared the poll while voting for me. So I just feel grateful and honoured to have so many people that show their support," said Paige Crozon.

Crozon won the first three rounds in a row to make it the final four of the poll. She eventually faced Kai Williams where she would move on to beat Jade Belmore for the title.

Amid the Pandemic, Crozon is planning to play with the FIBA 3x3 Canadian Women's Basketball Team in 2021. The Humboldt native is also taking advantage of spare time during the Pandemic by participating in online basketball coaching courses.

One of Humboldt's best continues to make waves in the sport of basketball.
