SaskWater advises the residents of several Humboldt-area communities to conserve water while the agency repairs a water line.

Repairs are starting Tuesday on the supply line to the Wakaw water plant, SaskWater spokesman Bob Lys said.

Residents of surrounding communities shouldn't notice a difference during the estimated two-day time frame, as the plant will run on reserves.

However it's still a good idea to conserve water in case repairs take longer than expected, he said.

If the storage wells would run dry, SaskWater would have to shut down the regional pipeline and issue a water advisory, he said.

The communities affected include Humboldt, Wakaw, Cudworth, Domremy, Bellevue, Hoey, Bruno, Muenster, Annaheim and Lake Lenore.
