Scotiabank put on a BBQ fundraiser to raise funds for cancer research and in turn the Terry Fox Foundation.

Carl Eckl, branch manager of the Scotiabank in Humboldt tells us why they support the cause.

"We are proud of what he started and we are proud to support the foundation he started long ago and raise money for cancer research." 

The Humboldt Scotiabank has done this fundraiser for many years and enjoys giving back to such an important organization.

"This is our, I think it's our 20th some years we have been doing this."

The Terry Fox run for the Humboldt area is on Sunday beginning at 10:30 with registration at Midland Glass.
