If you're looking for a reason to get out of the house and do something with the family, you've come to the right place.

On Thursday, August 20, Big Brother Big Sisters of Humboldt (BBBS) are going ahead with their second annual Big Classic Drive-In Event. People of all ages will be able to enjoy Toy Story 4 on a four-story screen in the Farm World parking lot for $38 a car.

"Tickets are moving with the big day upon us shortly. I know a lot of people that have intentions of coming, but haven't got their tickets yet," said Jodie Hergott.

The funds raked in will support BBBS programming amid the pandemic. Tickets are to be purchased at Eventbrite.ca to prevent backing up traffic onto the highway and maintain thorough physical distancing.

"You will be able to pick your spot according to your vehicle size and we'll make sure you have a clear view of the screen."

A total of 15 sponsors in Humboldt and area have pitched in to make this year's event a success. Last year, the first Big Classic Drive-In Event generated five to six thousand dollars for BBBS. The hope is to repeat or exceed that amount in 2020.

"Because of all the restrictions that are in place, we have lost a lot of our major fundraisers. We are looking to replace some of those lost funds with the success of the Drive-In," stated Hergott.

A concession will be available on-site as well. Click here to get your tickets and reserve your spot for a great evening.
