With the potholes dropping and the frost heaves popping, it’s time once again to tally up Saskatchewan’s Worst Roads with CAA. The province has over 250,000 km of roads, and that makes for a lot of upkeep. The annual CAA campaign gives motorists a chance to weigh in on which stretches of pavement are of most concern when it comes to safety and ease of travel.

This major CAA Saskatchewan Advocacy and Safety campaign is directed at all road users including motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and passengers. Selecting and voting for the worst, unsafe roads is available from April 9 to April 29, 2024, at caask.ca/worstroads

This year for the first time, CAA Saskatchewan will award one $1,000 Shell Gift Card through a random draw from all eligible votes. The winner will be announced on April 30, 2024.

While the Humboldt area has dodged the top ten list in 2023, a quick trip around our area is enough to let people know that there are some highways that could do with a look and have the potential for a pick.
