The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has announced the full schedule for the 2024-25.  

Opening night for the league will be Friday, September 20 with four games: 

Weyburn vs Yorkton at 7:00 PM in Yorkton 

Kindersley vs Battlefords at 7:30 PM in North Battleford  

Nipawin vs Flin Flon at 7:30 PM in Flin Flon 

Melfort vs La Ronge at 7:30 PM in La Ronge 

The Humboldt Broncos will begin the new season on home ice at the Elgar Petersen Arena (EPA) the following night, Saturday, September 21, when they welcome the Notre Dame Hounds.  

On Sunday, September 22, the Broncos will travel to Wilcox to face the Hounds for their first road game of the campaign.  

Humboldt’s final games of 2024 will take place from Dec.19-21, when they travel south for a three-game road trip in Weyburn, followed by a pair of games in Estevan. The Broncos return from the Christmas break will be on Saturday, January 4, as they entertain the Kindersley Klippers at the EPA.  

On Saturday, February 15, the Broncos will meet the Battlefords North Stars at 5:00 at the EPA. That same day, the Broncos will be holding an alumni game.  

The Broncos will host the Yorkton Terriers on Monday, February 17 with a special 3:00 opening faceoff on Family Day.  

To wrap up their home schedule, the Broncos meet the Kindersley Klippers on Sunday, March 9 at 4:00.  

The final game of the Broncos regular season is set for Friday, March 14 in Nipawin against the Hawks.  

Most of the home games in Humboldt will begin at 7:00.

Each SJHL team will play a 56-game schedule, along with a pair of in-season showcases with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). There will be no showcase in Warman featuring the 12 SJHL teams.  

All teams in the SJHL will face their divisional rivals eight times and will square off with teams outside of their division four times during the regular season.
