Humboldt’s Dayne Beuker was among the players named to the NHL Central Scouting's preliminary players to watch list that was released on Monday. Beuker was given a ‘B’ rating, meaning that he’s currently projected to be selected in the second or third round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. The list is a compilation of draft-eligible prospects from all the major development leagues throughout North America and Europe. It will be updated throughout the season as scouts evaluate players. This season with the US National U18 team, Beuker has 3 points (2G-1A) in 11 games and with the USNTDP Juniors in the USHL he has 1 goal in four games.
