The conditions on Saturday could not have been better for the Cudworth Lions Club Poker Rally.

On February 1st, sleds from Cudworth and surrounding area pulled up to the Community Hall for the Annual Lions Club Poker Rally. With breakfast, lunch, and dinner served throughout the day, riders were able to enjoy the 45-mile trail.

"We start out in Cudworth and then head south where we make a big loop over to the east staying within the RM of Hoodoo back up around to the north then back down to Cudworth while coming through Leofnard," said Elizabeth Miazga with the Cudworth Lions Club.

The riders were also entertained with a silent auction, raffles, and a 50/50. All the funds gathered for the poker rally go towards the Cudworth Lions Club which supports a number of local and international charities.

"We support STARS, we hand out Christmas hampers during the holidays, expenses for ill people, and just the last two years, the money has gone towards Autism Dog Guides. The list goes on and on and we have a wide variety of causes we support."

This Poker Rally has been going on for as long as anyone in Cudworth can remember and the Cudworth Lions Club looks to keep rolling into 2021.
