The East Central 15U AAA Dodgers gave the Saskatoon Astros a run for their money, but came up just short with an 11-10 loss at James Korte Field last night.

Both teams had strong showings at the plate with the Dodgers accumulating 15 hits to the Astros 17.

Kohen Ruedig led the way for the Dodgers going 3 for 4 on the evening.

The Astros took an early 5-2 lead into the top of the third, but the Dodgers flipped the score sheet when Grayden Jackson singled for a run, hit batter Luke Manz forced another, and an inside the park homer by Ruedig brought in a pair.

In the end, the Astros resurfaced in the latter innings to tally 11 runs and the Dodgers came up just short in a final inning press.

The Dodgers will be back in action in Swift Current this Saturday against the 57's.
